CITEthon (Chemical Engineering Insight, Technology, and
Excellence Hackathon) is a 3-day student-driven innovation
challenge under the umbrella of the CITE Conference. It aligns with
CITE’s mission by empowering students to tackle real-world
industrial sustainability issues through hands-on problem solving,
mentorship, and industry engagement. CITEthon directly supports
Saudi Vision 2030, focusing on energy efficiency and waste-toenergy innovations to shape a sustainable future for the Kingdom
and beyond.

Open to all university students from any major. Form a team of 3-5 members.

12 teams will participate. Only the top 8 teams will advance to Day 2.

4 mentors per day from industry and academia will rotate between teams offering
feedback and support.

Teams will receive access to workshops, expert mentorship, and collaborative
workspaces.
